About Tetrane

Software reliability, security, optimization and reverse-engineering.


Tetrane supports and participates in R&D projects where reliability or security is required, the use of resources must be optimized, or where reverse-engineering may help. Tetrane also conducts independent research on applications security/optimization.

Projects that Tetrane can facilitate include assembly/C/C++, x86/x86-64 or embedded systems, mainly on Linux or Windows, kernel or user land.
We are also accustomed to working on binaries, allowing clients to keep their source-code secret, and additionally we offer software/hardware reverse-engineering services.


The idea to start the company in early 2009 arose from the needs of software companies whithin these areas, where general IT services and consultancy companies could not respond efficiently.

Since its creation, Tetrane has worked around 80% of the time with software companies (targeting civil and military fields) as well as funded research, and with the remaining 20% dedicated to our own R&D to build the required specialised tools or to improve existing ones.

Tetrane designs and develops innovative tools targeted to the analysis and improvement of software binaries.
Thanks to Tetrane's cutting-edge technology, these tools allow for both static and dynamic analysis, on a wide range of processor architectures and operating systems. They scale from small library routines to larger pieces of software.
Through these innovations, Tetrane is able to provide her customers with significant improvements on Reliability, Security, Performance of their software, and a far better understanding of the code behavior through Reverse Engineering.

Innovative and specific approach of software

Customers provide their executable binaries, Tetrane analyzes and profiles them and is able to detect bugs, resources leaks, or security issues that most of the source-level standard tools cannot find.

Keep your source-code secret, we don't need it !

Depending of your needs, only part of a library may be sufficient, but a whole working system can also be submitted !
For a more understandable report, you are free to provide the executable symbols as well, but this is not required for the analysis process itself.

Innovative and customized services

You may want to test your software before releasing it, or to check the software you plan to use. You may suspect a software/connected-device that you own contains a backdoor, or you need help as soon as possible to identify/fix a bug on your previously-released software/device...

After analysis, Tetrane engineers can provide a report that points to the detected bugs/issues in the binaries, propose binary patches, or help your team fix the source code.
As source code access is not required, we can start to work remotely on projects in minutes, after you've uploaded the software to be analyzed and provided us with the licence/rights to perform this action.
